Hello again! So, here's the video I promised in my last post, my September 2017 garden tour. Some of the things you'll notice that are different from my last garden tour are that lots of the weeds are gone, as well as the peas. The cucumber plants were basically dead at the time I filmed this video, and I ripped them out shortly afterward. The sunflowers are all falling over, so since filming this video I have also carried several sunflowers to the "compost" pile at the back of our property. I'm hoping the birds that live in the bushes back there will appreciate the sunflower seeds very much this winter. The tomato plants are still producing, but not as much, they are finally winding down; and the potatoes are producing, as you will see in the video! (After I filmed this video, I harvested a few potatoes to eat throughout this week. There were probably about 10 potatoes, and I finished them up yesterday. They were a hit with my friends throughout the week.) Anyway, I'll include some pictures of the blue potatoes as well. And lastly, the marigolds FINALLY bloomed, and they did not disappoint! The cheerful blossoms make me so happy! I will definitely be planting marigolds in the garden next year, I don't care how tall they get or how long it takes them to bloom. :) Don't be afraid to be creative,
Nicole

Hey all! Wow, it's September already...sheesh! I don't know about you, but right about now is when I am realizing all the things I was going to do this summer, but didn't get done. One of those things is, um, well, posting this garden tour video! It's really pathetic that it's taken me over a month to remember that I have this thing and actually get it posted. Anyway, I thought I would still share it with you guys even though it's so late, and I'm even being ambitious and hoping that I will be able to walk you through the garden in its current state this weekend! Please no high expectations, though! ;) Don't be afraid to be creative,
